Dear Members, it is 7:15 AM on Friday, June 4, 2010 and I discovered all these dating site ads throughout the site. That is so wrong and I want to apologize for that. many many apologies to you all.

I am working as fast as I can to change these advertising placements in Google ad management controls to filter the ads.

How did this happen? Webdev has placed codes in the site so I can control placement of ad and sponsor banners in the site. There is a feature whereby Google can place ads in of their choice. Google bots look for keywords in a site that triggers the type of ads it will place. And so since the google ad bots have found the word “Filipina” and “dating” on the pinay.com pages, then ads with services tied in to those keywords are being filtered in.

This event has given you a glimpse of something that I have been witnessing online for a long time. Seems like there are an overwhelming number of services online that cue in to dating and Filipina matchmaking. Again that is not what this site is about. (See the About page of Pinay.com).

Again, I am working on how to filter out the dating and Filipina match sites out of Pinay.com.

Please bear with me as I wait for the settings change to kick in and wait for the google dating ads to be pushed out of pinay.com.
