Embrace Yourself |

Embrace, Accept and Love yourself - Pinay Sparkle = Perla Daly -

Accept, Embrace and Love yourself. You will shine.

A post from the series Pinay, Shine! 15 Ways to Connect to Liwanag and Shine, at

Embrace yourself. Accept and love yourself and you will shine. You’ll accept and love others more deeply.

Begin by accepting yourself as you are, blemishes and all. Take a slow, steady breath, breath oxygen into your being, see the fresh intake of air as a gift in the moment, blessing your being.

Accept yourself the way you look… relish in your talents that you have discovered and are yet to discover… the loves you have and are yet to find… the adventures you’ve taken and are yet to take.

Acknowledge yourself in how you feel… about things, people, everyday occurrences. Appreciate the point where you are in your life’s journey. And just be okay with you.

You don’t have to be perfect. Accept your imperfections, be kind to yourself. Any improvement is from the inside out.

Take care of yourself. Eat well. Be healthy and make sure to maintain good physical state. Your body is the vehicle your mind and feelings dwell in and by which they get around! A body that receives good healthy food and gets exercise will also feel better than a body that receives too much junky food with sugars, salts and fats and doesn’t get enough exercise. If you physically aren’t at your best, how can you feel and act your best? So treat your body well.

Embrace yourself. Pinay Sparkle.

A person can naturally accept and be compassionate towards others when she or he already accepts and is compassionate towards their self.

There will be times people around you aren’t going to understand the journey YOU are taking. But its okay. It’s your journey. Not theirs.

The more you begin to know yourself and accept and embrace yourself, the less you will be affected by other’s opinions of you.

If you can accept yourself from the inside you’ll not need material goods, or exterior situations to define who you are to yourself or in the eyes of others. And you will not judge people by their material goods or exterior situations either.

Compassion towards yourself, embracing yourself from the soul and light within is the key to compassion for others.

You may be petrified by the seeming selfishness of such a notion. But this act is not about loving one’s material belongings and worldly reputation or image. It’s about embracing the soul within.

It’s an amazing thing to do that will deeply affect how you will easily and truly accept, embrace and love OTHERS in return.

Here’s something that you will begin to understand—the source of crab mentality is the inability to accept oneself and others for the light and soul sparks that are within us all.

Pray. Sit in quiet. Be silent and breath in nature. Take in oxygen in a conscious way that nourishes your being.

Be connected to your authentic self more and more and you will feel good about yourself more and more. You will shine more.

And when you feel good about yourself and sparkle people will feel good being around you too.
